Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann said his team played well and created chances but failed to score as they lost to France in the third-place play-off of the UEFA Nations League.

The “Iron Eagles” finished only 4th in the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League after losing 0-2 at home to France in the 3rd place play-off on Sunday.
“I saw a lot more of our สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ team today than I did on Wednesday,” Nagelsmann said after Germany lost two games in a row for the first time in over a year.
“At the end of the day, if you create that many chances, you have to win against the top teams. We played well and created a lot of chances, but there’s another side to football: you have to turn those chances into goals.”
“The results of both matches were bitter, but today’s game was much better than Wednesday’s. If we play like today in the World Cup qualifiers, we will qualify. But we must not let up even a little bit. We must be aggressive and make the most of every game.”
Nagelsmann said his team was only “a few percentage points behind the top teams” but for this all key players have to be healthy and ready to give it their all.
“Of course fit players increase the likelihood of playing a good World Cup,” Nagelsmann said.
Anything but first place in the World Cup qualifying group featuring Slovakia, Northern Ireland and Luxembourg would be a major surprise.
